Buy inline switches for lamp cords

An inline switch is fitted on a cable to switch the power on and off. Unearthed inline switches work best with oval lamp cable, and earthed ones with round lamp cable. The switches come in several colours. You may replace an inline switch on an existing lamp yourself if you know how and can do the work safely. If you are unsure, leave the job to an electrician.
